CAVE CREEK, AZ.  --  Rancho Manana Golf Club is collecting toys again this holiday season with special rates for golfers that bring in a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to a needy child.

“Because I’ve got two young boys myself, I want to help as many kids as possible have a happy Christmas morning with a new toy,” said Dale Samar, General Manager of the club.  “This is our third year and each year we’ve done better with it.  The first year, we collected money at the counter and then went out and purchased toys but I think people like to actually pick out the toys themselves.  Last year, we requested players bring in toys and we collected over 90 toys.    Our goal this year is to get more than 100 but I’m actually hopeful that we can get quite a few more than that.”

Through December 17th, the special rates for players that bring a new, unwrapped toy are $59 any day of the week, which is quite an incentive as the regular rate is $89.
