Rancho Manana Golf Club Celebrates Successful Toy Drive

CAVE CREEK, AZ. -- Rancho Manana Golf Club would like to thank everyone in the community that helped make this year’s Toy Drive such a huge success. When Golfers were recently encouraged to bring in a new, unwrapped toy in exchange for a lower green fee, more than 135 toys were collected in less than three weeks. The toys were then donated to the Toys for Tots program conducted by the United States Marine Corp.

“When I showed up at the local fire department drop off point, I think they were a little surprised at the number of toys there were,” said Dale Samar, General Manager of the club. “My car was packed to the roof. Last year, we collected over 90 toys so it was pretty exciting to get so many more this year. Of course, the best part is knowing that we’ve helped bring the joy of Christmas to some very deserving kids.”
