Arizona Golf Courses:

Although most of Arizona is considered a desert, not all Arizona golf courses are surrounded by spectacular native desert with elevation changes and views that create feelings of awe for golfers fortunate enough to visit. Two of Arizona’s best desert courses include Rancho Mañana Golf Club in Cave Creek and SunRidge Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills. Each provide true desert golf experiences for players that want to challenge what Mother Nature has created.

Rancho Mañana’s tag line is “An Experience that Truly Represents Golf in the Arizona Desert” and it couldn’t be more accurate. With plenty of elevation change and views of the entire valley from a number of holes on the front nine and equally impressive views of mountains to the north on the back, the course is almost completely surrounded by unspoiled natural desert terrain and extraordinary beauty.
Rancho’s recent accolades include “Top Ten Courses” in Arizona by Ranking Arizona and Golf Digest’s “Top 50” in the country for women.

SunRidge Canyon is a journey that plays downhill through the Sonoran desert into a canyon on the front nine and then turns and climbs back out with some of the state’s best finishing holes. In fact, holes 13 through 18, nicknamed the “Wicked 6” just might be the best six finishing holes in Arizona. Even if you score well on the front side, an uphill battle (both literally and figuratively) will await you on the back.
A long history of accolades for SunRidge includes being named #42 in the USA on GOLF magazine’s list of the “Best Places You Can Play.”
